Episode One Hundred And Eighty Nine – On Ada Lovelace Day – Interview With Suw Charman-Anderson

Tuesday 14 October 2014 is Ada Lovelace Day, an international day celebrating the achievements of women in science, technology, engineering and maths.

For this interview, I speak to Suw Charman-Anderson. A committed digital rights advocate, in 2005 Suw founded the UK’s Open Rights Group and is the driving force behind Ada Lovelace Day. She is the editor of A Passion for Science: Stories of Discovery and Invention, which brings together inspiring stories of how women achieved some of the most important breakthroughs in science and technology.

You can also support the Ada Lovelace Day Live event, happening in London on IndieGoGo.

Theme songs are P&P by Derek K. Miller of www.penmachine.com and Leap Second by Milton Mermikides, of www.miltonmermikides.com, illustration by Sara Myahew.
