The Token Skeptic podcast is the brainchild of Kylie Sturgess, a Philosophy teacher and student of Psychology.

She holds degrees in Philosophy, English Literature, Media Studies, Education and her Masters Degree thesis investigated the measurement of paranormal and pseudoscientific beliefs, focusing on gender differences.

Kylie was a Master of Ceremonies at the 2010 Global Atheist Convention in Melbourne, Victoria and has conducted over a hundred interviews for both the Skeptic Zone and Token Skeptic podcasts. She’s the author of the ‘Curiouser and Curiouser‘ column at the Committee for Skeptical Inquiry website and travels internationally lecturing on feminism, skepticism, atheism and science. In 2011, she was the first prize winner for the Individual Activist Award from the Secular Students Alliance.
