As the coordinator for the 10:23 Campaign in Australia, I am honored to be working with activists across the country on the awareness-raising about the claims of homeopathy in 2011.
Many thanks to Paul Caggegi in Sydney, Chris Higgins in Melbourne and Jayson Cooke on the Gold Coast (Brisbane) for talking to me for this episode about their views on skeptical activism, aims over the weekend of the 5-6th February and plans to network with like-minded skeptics.
Other groups included in the Campaign are represented by Mick Vagg of the Great Coast Road Skeptics; The Victorian Skeptics; Andrew Gould in Canberra; Dan Buzzard and David Frank in Perth. We also have Dr Paul Willis of ABC’s Catalyst representing ‘Australians in Antarctica’!
Further details can be found on www.tokenskeptic.org/ten23. The official site for the 10:23 Campaign is at http://www.1023.org.uk – many thanks to the Merseyside Skeptics for getting this all started!

Hi,
I am interested in participating in the 10:23 “There’s nothing in it”campaign/protest at Brisbane, but can not see any info for where, when, what etc.
I would be travelling from Coffs so was hoping there was some sort of organised event rather than just a loose awareness of like-minded souls over a couple of days.
Any info appreciated, thanks.
Cheers, Jill

Hi All,
I’ve just found out about this campaign. Bloody brilliant! I am a frustrated Pharmacist and will inform as many of my colleagues about your good work as I possibly can. Might also be an idea to contact our colleagues at their “Science Based Pharmacy” website (http://sciencebasedpharmacy.wordpress.com/).
