Ask The Token Skeptic – Video Response For SkeptiCamp (Buy Their Shirts)

I have an idea. Let’s give it a try.

In the comments of this blog-post, suggest a topic for research. Something that I can reasonably answer within ten minutes, and make a short YouTube-style video in order to answer it.

I’ll see about zipping it together over the next few days and trialing it on the poor unfortunate trapped participants who have to watch it the lovely people who will be attending the forthcoming  2011 Sydney SkeptiCamp – April 30th, Building 2 of UTS on Broadway, from 11am.

Have I mentioned SkepticCamp Sydney? As in, have you listened to the interview conducted for episode #62 of the Token Skeptic podcast?

And I thought I was behind on episodes… sheesh. Go listen. Jason Brown is brilliant and incredibly patient and his people even suggested that the Token Skeptic logo be in all white and be placed under the Stop The AVN logo on the right hand side. I am posh.

Have you noticed that the Sydney SkeptiCamp have sold out of allocated tickets, but there might be more if you keep an eye on their site? Do go if you can. I’m sponsoring them and have I mentioned again that they even put me on their t-shirt? As in, the t-shirt in the picture? That you can also get via Zazzle as their Official 2011 Sydney SkeptiCamp Merchandise? ‘For The Well-Dressed Critical Thinker’ it says. My 2011 fantasies have all come true, and it’s not even the rainy season. Oh, wait…

Comments –> this blogpost. Snap to it and send them in. I might even answer a few funny ones. Get creative, get skeptical. Support the show and support SkeptiCamp. Write as if you’re creating bumperstickers for bonus points. Prrrrrrrr.

How about something on ‘why women tend more to believe?’ there were some great comments about that in response to one of the episodes.

Hello!! I have noted these ideas – and what I think I’ll do is use them in the future? I ended up going with the Dr Oz /Novella breakdown, after someone suggested it on Twitter. :) Check the most recent blogpost/YouTube link to see how it went!
